Search engine is a core for antivirus. This engine uses search algorithms to examine different layers of a file. A good antivirus must use a powerful search engine, as well as a combination of the most effective malware detection methods. In this study of 127 computer engineering students, we looked at what types of antivirus products they use and what they think about their antivirus characteristics. In the study, Antivirus Eset Nod32 was ranked first, the second place went to the antivirus in the new versions of Windows, and it was also found that students are more inclined to update their antivirus methods free of charge. Many students were also unaware of security plugins, new specifications of antivirus, banking & payment protection, and anti-malware.
