In the article some peculiarities of flow dynamics in vortex tubes were analyzed with application of theoretical methods. Shown was an opportunity of developing cooling appliances by means of self-assembly processes, based on Ranque’s and Benard’s effects. Compiled and adjusted were programs for evaluation of complicated processes, occurring in liquids.

To make R&D work very fast engineers are looking for alternative technologies to validate their work. It is not feasible to go with conventional manufacturing technology as it is time consuming. So 3D printing technology is best alternative to conventional ways of manufacturing technology when there is constrain of time.  Now 3d printing technology is growing and giving numerous options to plastic, composite and metals for rapid prototyping.  As composites are introduced in market and their properties are so excellent that they can replace metal also. Now a days there is always discussion of replacing traditional material by using composites. In this study we have compared 3d printed composites with 3d printed plastic material by using FEA technique. This will give clear idea on selection of 3d printed composites over other 3d printed materials for rapid prototyping.
